Photobiomodulation at NeuroRadiance is termed tNIRLA: transcranial NIR light absorbance. We utilize a Class IV high energy laser to transmit near infrared light energy to the brain with a hand held transducer directly applied to the scalp. A patient specific formulation determines laser parameters, and each patient receives a series of treatments organized in a block over a finite period of time.
Concussions and other forms of mild TBI are treated with a combination of 3-7 laser treatments and hyperbaric oxygen over four (4) to ten (10) days. Dr. Cooper performs all treatments personally. Treatments are painless with no side effects.
